Sunroc united with local businesses last month to help support the 2nd Annual Love Idaho event held at the LakeView Park in Nampa, Idaho.
A Sunroc customer helps coordinate the event each year, which inspired Sunroc to donate $5,000 to the cause.
The annual outing began last year by the Christian Faith Center Español Campus, an organization committed to transforming communities by “loving people to life.”
The group distributes needed food and supplies to members of the community, and Sunroc’s donation made it possible to help meet the needs of families in the area.
At the event, participants enjoyed free on-the-spot medical services, food boxes, clothing, back-to-school backpacks with school supplies, hot meals, live music, prayer tents, and fun family activities, including prizes.
Sunroc’s mission is to help in Building a Better Community. Supporting families in the communities in which its employees call home is just one way the company demonstrates values of integrity and putting the individual first outside of the workplace.
