The Sunroc Ready-Mix division in Boise, Idaho, recently contributed to the addition of two new chair lifts at the Bogus Basin Sky Resort.
Sunroc was recommended for this special project by the Bogus Basin Mountain Improvement Team, who previously worked with Sunroc on their Mountain Coaster project. After meeting with project manager Matt Lewis, their team felt confident that Sunroc could deliver the service and quality required for this unique operation.
Thanks to the efforts and coordination from Timberline Helicopters, SkyTrac, Bogus Basin and Sunroc, 130 yards of concrete were successfully delivered by air with no issues or rejected loads.
“This was definitely one to remember,” said Jason Clements, Concrete Sales Representative at Sunroc. “Bogus Basin is such an iconic part of the Treasure Valley, and it was an amazing experience to play a role in the expansion of one of my favorite recreational destinations. The icing on the cake was hearing from SkyTrac and Timberline that our mud was the best they’ve seen in a long time. I couldn’t be more proud of our team.”
Sunroc is honored to be part of such a significant project and looks forward to continuing the partnership with Bogus Basin and other local businesses.
