Long before the sun rises, Sunroc’s concrete team in Southern Utah is already in motion. From dispatchers to drivers, batchers, quality control and sales reps, each person plays a vital role in making sure our materials get where they need to be.
By early morning, Carrissa Teeples in dispatch is already on the phone, organizing routes and making sure drivers have everything they need to hit the road. With her focus and efficiency, Carrissa sets the tone for the day, keeping logistics on track and adapting quickly to any necessary changes.
Meanwhile, Tiffani Davis, Sunroc’s only female driver in Southern Utah, is juggling her driving duties along with batching at both the Cedar and Beaver plants. Whether she’s behind the wheel or helping out at the plant, Tiffani steps up wherever she’s needed.
Later, Dan Shaffer from quality control is checking concrete mixes to make sure every batch meets customer specs. With his years of experience and sharp eye for detail, Dan keeps Sunroc’s quality standards high, ensuring each project has exactly the right mix.
Out on the job site, Kelly Nelson—known as the “Godfather” of Sunroc—is checking in with contractors and customers. As a concrete operations manager with more than 25 years of experience in concrete, Kelly’s hands-on approach and deep industry knowledge make sure each project is set up for success.
Meanwhile, while all these operations are in full swing, Neil Bagley, a sales rep and long-time batch plant operator, is out building relationships with customers. Neil’s focus on trust and delivering on promises keeps clients coming back.
Finally, while these folks are keeping things moving in the field, a whole additional team supports Sunroc’s operations behind the scenes, including:
- Bryan Mosdell, Guy Stephensen, Tim Brockway, Mike Gribble, Terry Snyder, Cody Parkinson, Martín Vásquez Lopez, Brandon Woolsey, Chris Gribble, Andrew Weber, Dave Melling, Dave Anderson, Hunter Mosdell, Cameron Taylor, Jason Walsh, Josh Warner, Tre Pabalinas, Dan Glammeyer, Steve Rider, Brooke Ackerman, Robbie Haslam, Kerston Scott and Ray Warner
“This team goes above and beyond every single day,” said Mark Boxwell, Trucking Supervisor at Sunroc. “They tackle tough jobs with grit and a positive attitude, and that’s what keeps us moving forward. I couldn’t ask for a better crew to get the job done right.”
As the day winds down, Sunroc’s concrete team has traveled hundreds of miles and delivered countless loads. Their hard work and positive attitude make sure every project stays on track—no matter the challenges that may arise along the way.
