Sunroc is working with Witt Construction on the Lindon Utah Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Extensive amounts of earthwork (including moving 33,000 cubic yards of dirt), utility work, and some concrete work are required for the project.

Sunroc is using D6 dozers, paddlewheel scrapers, and compacters to complete the earthwork portion of the project. The biggest challenge with the earthwork includes finding and avoiding exiting utilities due to non-existent utilities maps for the site. Once the earthwork is subgraded and complete with stable soil, new utilities work will begin. When the utilities are in place, the concrete required for the footings and basement foundation will be poured.
