Knowing the value of Clyde Companies due to its relationship with Sunpro, Premier Development selected Sunroc for the first time on a new development project in Cedar City, Utah.
The contract came about after the owner of Premier Development contacted Sunpro President Greg Templeman about using Sunroc for the horizontal development on a residential subdivision.
After learning the details of the project, Sunroc provided Premier Development with a competitive proposal considering Premier’s relationship with Sunpro. Premier Development accepted Sunroc’s offer largely because of its experience working with Sunpro, knowing that the same kind of relationship would be formed due to the connection to Clyde Companies.
Premier Development was deeply impressed with Sunroc’s knowledge of the work and the ability to identify potential problems during the bidding process. Additionally, the company liked the feasibility of the schedule and thought it represented actual estimates along the timeline.
Work on the 46-lot subdivision will include mass grading, pressurized sewer work, water installation, and asphalt paving. Construction on the project is set to begin in July.
